Synopsis
Tale Spin brings together an amazing collection of imaginative and often surprising short fiction. From the subtle
irony of Moonshadow and the humour of Tanked, to the romance of Queen of Hearts, or the startling Cabin Fever, each story presents a wonderful spin
on its genre. There's even a treat for fans of the author's Erebus Equilibrium series with the story, Sandman, an enchanting tale that can be read as either a
prequel, or sequel to the fantasy series, as well as a preview of Bortag's Curse, the stunning sequel to The Erebus Equilibrium trilogy.
As a bonus to readers, this new and revised edition also contains the author's previously unpublished novella,
Restless Harts, and Visions of Transition, a selection of the author's poetry.
Tale Spin's amusing, yet often thought-provoking compendium of original Science Fiction, Fantasy and Supernatural
tales, creates a spellbinding journey filled with twists and turns, and culminates with the tongue-in-cheek audacity of the title story!
The poetry in Visions of Transition is representative of an era in the author's life. While many of the poems, with their metaphoric eloquence, reflect the experiences
of the time, the situations and subjects they describe are not necessarily a commentary of actual incidents or events.
Most of the poems are individual, stand-alone works of creative fiction designed to be nothing more than thought-provoking observations of the day. Some reflect the heartache
and sorrow we all may feel at one time or another as we travel the many roads of life. While others remind us of the futility of war and conflict. However, readers may also
find a theme of transition emerging from the many lines, and from the spaces in between, linking a series of poems with a metamorphic journey of life, its ever-present
lessons, and, unavoidable disappointments!
This collection of poems is dedicated to the timorous butterflies trapped inside us all...
