Synopsis
Two of the key questions that we have to ask ourselves regarding quantum involvement with thought, consciousness and spirituality are: Is there a scientific basis for spirituality? And can quantum mechanics describe a space-time continuum for primal consciousness, which unequivocally generates a solid argument for the existence of God?
If so, then the existence and nature of the soul are as plain as love, truth, and beauty. Yet, a plausible argument that supports the soul's existence comes from the quantum world. Quantum physics has made the spiritual worldview a reality. Even Einstein and his brilliant cohorts saw beyond the horizon of time and space; they went into the invisible domain where the soul must also exist.
In going there, they did not pack religious words to put in their suitcases, and therefore references to God and the soul were sidelined in favour of quarks, neutrinos, relativity, and wormholes.
About The Author
William J. Chevalier was an operations research analyst and physicist with the Department of Defense. He received numerous awards for performing feasibility studies using simulation and engineering model concepts on design alternatives, and developed and implemented economic cost projection models and other design concepts as evaluative research tools used by the Department of the Army. Chevalier holds advanced degrees from Brown University and the University of New Hampshire.
He has previously published The Wellness of the Spirit, Our Journey to the Light, Glimpses of Reality and A Short History of Time, Space and the Quantum World.

I have always believed that a smooth transition will occur as we pass to life after physical death devoid of our physical being as we know it. Since the spirit and soul are eternal, how will our intelligence, emotions, free will, psychological and social profiles, and conscious levels of aware, as the sum total imprints of our human nature carry over as attributes of the soul to eternity? As we transition to eternity after physical death, I believe that we will communicate with each other in an extrasensory or telepathic dimension during the immediate afterlife prior to the soul's transformation over to eternal existence.
At that point in time, when God comes to tend to His sheep, I have faith that we will all be transformed over to eternal creatures having levels of thought, consciousness, emotions, intellect and freewill made to carry out the will of our creator in a beautiful and happy realm of existence.
The great theoretical Indian physicist Amit Goswani thinks that the quantum world with all its mystical behaviors may very well unite the physical and spiritual realms of reality, reflecting our physical and spiritual nature, as it is spiritually thought that essence and existence are one.
