Synopsis
Major Jeremy Billycock-Smythe ("Oh, do call me Major B S, old boy!"), is a former British soldier, failed mercenary and
bumbling adventure tour operator who puts his business interests on hold in a bid to save his wife's historic Australian homestead, Rowbottom.
Along the way, he is recruited to carry out a top-secret government mission.
Unfortunately, unless you have a top-level security clearance, you probably can't read this book to find out what it is and how he messes it up yet again!
Major B S is a comic novel from the author of How Much Is That Scorpion in the Window?
About The Author
Author John Martin is a Canberra writer. By day he works as a journalist who is a stickler for accuracy; by night, he
writes frivolous fiction with little regard for the facts. Or, he wonders, is it the other way around?
He grew up in Tasmania and has written three previous pieces of nonsense: Apples (1994), How Much Is That Scorpion in the Window? (2004), and Adventure By
Flip-Flops Under The Southern Cross (eBook, 2005).

home. Two hours! Would you believe it?"
"Really," said his wife, looking up from behind her book. Not that she cared particularly, not after the day she had already had.
"If people don't want to drive proper-sized cars, they should stay off the road!" he added. "I am sick and damn tired of having to blow the horn at them to get them to make
way."
"Jeremy, what on earth has happened to your clothes?"
"Don't ask," said the major...
