Synopsis

About The Author
Ginny Meerman lives in Annapolis, Maryland, USA with Chris, her husband of nineteen years, four children, three dogs and three parrots. As a writer, she spins tales with a mixture of fantasy, humour, and romance, all the while creating animated characters, which become more endearing to the reader with the turn of each and every page.

Ginny has dedicated her life to helping others and is a strong community leader. She has competed in several Mrs. pageants, using her participation in them to send positive messages to other women. She holds the title of National Mrs. Maryland 2007 and uses her crown as a microphone to increase public awareness of and draw attention to the issues of poverty and the ongoing epidemic of child abuse and neglect in the United States.

The bracelet felt as if it were alive in her hand, giving her a tingling sensation as if she held a buzzing bumblebee inside her palm. Again she looked at the exquisite stones on the bracelet. She was drawn to the blue one and caressed it. Immediately upon touching the stone, the disturbing sensation returned. She once again felt like she had been lost and found at the same time. Her eyes were riveted to the blue stone; it had such an extraordinary pull on her. What was it about the sapphire stone that made her feel so happy and then filled her with so much anguish that she felt surely her heart would break?

Devon continued to lovingly caress the blue stone; feeling as if it were a balm to her tortured soul. But I do not have a tortured soul, she thought to herself, and I certainly have not been lost!

She stood, walked to the case and gently placed the bracelet on the glass top. She wanted out of this shop, the quicker the better!
