Synopsis
Their memories removed, the Demon Hunters had been given two years to familiarise themselves with modern culture before being called upon by the Goddess Medusera to prevent the invocation of the demon, Baal. Only then could they return to their homes in the Stone Circles.
Summoned to witness the bonding of the Goddess Curremy and the helpful vampire Westy, disturbing news of a powerful leader of evil was revealed to them. Much stronger than before and with new methods of travel, the Demon Hunters were formidable challengers to their adversaries.
But their centuries-old blood hid a terrible secret from the past, linked to the mysterious circles of stone; a secret that could send them all to Hell...and beyond.
About The Author
John H. Barnes lived in the village of Collaton-St-Mary before moving a few miles to the village of Ipplepen, about four miles from Totnes, South Devon, and has travelled to many of the towns, stone circles and castles mentioned in The Demon Hunters.
John moved to Australia more than twenty years ago. As a result of his involvement with several Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades he is now an Honorary Life Member of the V.B.F.B. in the Shire of Mundaring, Western Australia, and was awarded the National Medal for his service to volunteer bush fire brigades.
For a long time now, the supernatural has been of great interest to him, and this is indicative in his writings.
From The Book
The three strangers suddenly morphed into vampires and launched themselves at the ghost hunters. One of them attacked Garet; another attacked Tom. The woman hit Westy, dazing him, and she dragged him out of sight of the others. Six more of her vampire friends appeared, three of them pinning Garet to the floor.
Seeing Garet's plight, Pitts became the vampire he had been for more than two hundred years and pulled them off his friend before killing his brethren.
Curremy grabbed another by the neck and it burst into flames. Tom and Garet hurled another towards a hat stand, piercing its chest. Pitts retrieved the crude weapon and finished off two others, thrusting the bloodied hooks through their ribcages.
Curremy noticed the last of them trying to leave, and even though it was five feet away from her, she lifted it from the ground as flames engulfed its body.
Westy lay motionless on the floor, his fate unknown.
